High-resolution optical coherence tomography and a 6-millimeter endoscope created this image of a normal mouse ovary. The larger arrow indicates the corpus luteum, and the smaller arrow points to cell nuclei. Jennifer Barton uses mouse models of ovarian cancer to better understand carcinogenesis and test novel therapies. She says, “Having the resolution to see cell nuclei will enable the early stages of dysplasia to be identified.” (Image courtesy of Jennifer Barton.)
