Live, highly confluent HeLa cells were transfected using pShooter vector pCMV/myc/mito/GFP and Lipofectamine 2000 transfection reagent and stained with the reagents in the Image-iT® LIVE Plasma Membrane and Nuclear Labeling Kit (I34406). Plasma membranes were labeled with Alexa Fluor® 594 wheat germ agglutinin and nuclei were stained with Hoechst 33342. Cells were visualized using epifluorescence microscopy.
